Idiomatic expresions or idioms are a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words.
Dar gato por liebre
- Literal translation: to give cat instead of hare.
- English equivalent: to rip off, trick.
- Example: Mis amigos son turistas inocentes, siempre les dan gato por liebre.
