We know that nearly every Spanish word that ends in mente is an adverb of manner. Its English equivalent ends in -ly:

  • rápidamente – rapidly
  • posiblemente – possibly
  • tristemente – sadly

In this lesson we will take a look at other ways to express manner: adverbial phrases. These are the combination of words that express the way something is done.
